It’s time for you to meet another member of our team! Every department at the House of Hotrods is just as important as its counterpart. One of the most talented groups here on our campus is our paint and body group. Last spring we introduced you to our lead fabricator, Tracy Litton, but this month you’ll get to know 49-year-old, House of Hotrods Paint and Body Manager – Randy Mason.
Randy was born in Detroit, MI but grew up here in Texas near Lewisville with his family. As a teenager, Randy moved to Cedar Hill in the early 80’s and started working with his uncle at Jerry Mason’s Paint & Body Shop. It was there that he developed his passion for building and painting cars!
After leaving Cedar Hill years later, Randy went on to work at some of the top dealerships in the area such as Ford, Dodge and Honda. He also gained some experience working at Mastercraft in Ovilla, TX.
In 2007, Randy joined the House of Hotrods family and has since then worked his way up to being the excellent leader of our team that he is today! When he’s not at the shop overseeing his team he’s either spending time with his wife Laura and their 2 kids or setting bowling records at the local alley.
